MLB Instant Replay Review 249: Clint Fagan (04)

Instant Replay Review confirmed 2B Umpire Clint Fagan's out call in the top of the 9th inning of the Twins-Tigers game. With one out and one on, Twins baserunner R1 Brian Dozier attempted to steal second base off Tigers pitcher Evan Reed and catcher Alex Avila, who threw to shortstop Andrew Romine as Dozier slid into second base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Twins Manager Ron Gardenhire, Fagan's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Twins were leading, 2-0. The Twins ultimately won the contest, 2-1.
