MLB Instant Replay Review 279: Chris Conroy (06)

Instant Replay Review upheld 2B Umpire Chris Conroy's safe call in the top of the 5th inning of the Indians-Blue Jays game. With one out and one on, Indians baserunner R1 Asdrubal Cabrera attempted to steal second base on Blue Jays catcher Josh Thole to second baseman Brett Lawrie. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Blue Jays Manager John Gibbons, Conroy's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Indians were leading, 4-0. The Indians ultimately won the contest, 15-4.
