MLB Replay Reviews 215, 216: Bellino, Ripperger (4, 5)
In the 3rd, with two out and one on, A's batter Brandon Moss hit a 0-0 cutter from Red Sox pitcher Lackey on the fly to left fielder Grady Sizemore, who threw to shortstop Bogaerts, to catcher A.J. Pierzynski as A's baserunner R1 Josh Donaldson arrived at home plate. Upon Replay Review as the result of a request by A's Manager Melvin and initiation by Crew Chief Jeff Kellogg, Ripperger's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the A's were leading, 1-0. The A's ultimately won the contest, 3-2, in 10 innings.
