MLB Instant Replay Review 438: Will Little (04)

Instant Replay Review confirmed 1B Umpire Will Little's out call in the bottom of the 9th inning of the Mariners-Braves game. With one out and none on, Braves batter Justin Upton hit a 2-1 fastball from Mariners pitcher Fernando Rodney on the ground to shortstop Brad Miller, who threw to first baseman Justin Smoak as Upton arrived at first base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Braves Manager Fredi Gonzalez, Little's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Mariners were leading, 2-0. The Mariners ultimately won the contest, 2-0.
