MLB Instant Replay Review 522: Gerry Davis (08)

Instant Replay Review confirmed 1B Umpire Gerry Davis' out call in the bottom of the 8th inning of the Rangers-Mariners game. With none out and two on, Mariners batter Willie Bloomquist bunted a 0-2 curveball from Rangers pitcher Ben Rowen on the ground to first baseman Brad Snyder, who attempted to retire Bloomquist. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Mariners Manager Lloyd McClendon, Davis' ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Mariners were leading, 4-1. The Mariners ultimately won the contest, 5-1.
