MLB Instant Replay Reviews 536-537: Phil Cuzzi (09, 10)
In the 5th, with none out and one on, Dodgers batter A.J. Ellis hit a 0-2 curveball from Rockies pitcher Franklin Morales on the ground to shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, who threw to second baseman DJ LeMahieu to first baseman Parker as Ellis arrived at first base, Dodgers baserunner R1 Scott Van Slyke out at second. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Rockies Manager Weiss, Cuzzi's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Dodgers were leading, 8-0. The Dodgers ultimately won the contest, 8-0, on a no-hitter by Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw.
