MLB Replay Reviews 418-419: Barry, Fagan (02, 06)

Instant Replay Review confirmed 2B Umpire Scott Barry's out call and overturned HP Umpire Clint Fagan's score-the-run call (time play) in the top of the 2nd inning of the Rangers-Nationals game. With two out and two on, Rangers baserunner R1 Alex Rios attempted to steal second base off Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos, who threw to second baseman Danny Espinoza as Rios arrived at second base and Rangers baserunner R3 Elvis Andrus arrived at home plate. Upon Replay Review as the result of simultaneous challenges by Rangers Manager Ron Washington and Nationals Manager Matt Williams, Barry's ruling was affirmed (TEX), the call was correct, and Fagan's ruling was reversed (WAS), the call was incorrect. At the time of the reviews, the Rangers were leading, 1-0. The Rangers ultimately won the contest, 2-0.
