This is better than most Pro guys turn in. Conroy is someone who has impressed me quite a bit these last few years. I hope he gets an MLb job soon because plate jobs like this are what MLB needs to see.

http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/cache/zoneplot.php-pitchSel=all&game=gid_2012_07_19_nynmlb_wasmlb_1&sp_type=1&s_type=7.gifRusshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00077541258320019256noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4917712291092871273.post-50757643031652796202012-07-19T12:00:57.815-07:002012-07-19T12:00:57.815-07:00Thursday kudos: Chris Conroy calling a knuckleball...Thursday kudos: Chris Conroy calling a knuckleballer (RA Dickey) on the plate for the first time on a 90-plus degree afternoon in Washington. That can't be fun. Even though it was "heated" he got his word in for a decent time and when the umpire don't want to talk or explain any further it is the crew chiefs job to get the manager back to the clubhouse. This situation is not horrible by any means but it's not textbook either. The CC didn't really do anything.
Side note... These ejections are the worst for an umpire! Waiting til the Manager gets out to the mound all the while starring at you. Then you waiting a bit and knowing that once I walk 60ft I'm gonna have to toss this guy!
