All three of them are part time crew chiefs along with Michael Smith, Zach Zarba and Leon Wood. It is possible Jones was the crew chief since they both are part time. You can read his lips and all Johnson is saying is "let me see the ball, let me see it" Many NBA players do this in between free throws where the want to touch the ball. I don't know why, but it is common. I think Jones could have handled that better.
