MLB Replay Reviews 326-327: Drake, Foster (04, 05)

Instant Replay Review upheld 3B Umpire Rob Drake's out call in the top of the 6th and overturned 2B Umpire Marty Foster's catch (out) call in the bottom of the 8th inning of the Reds-Nationals game. In the 6th, with one out and one on, Reds baserunner R2 Todd Frazier attempted to steal third base off Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos, who threw to Kevin Frandsen as Frazier slid into the bag. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Reds Manager Bryan Price, Drake's ruling was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the Reds were leading, 2-1.

In the 8th, with none out and none on, Nationals batter Denard Span hit a 0-0 fastball from Reds pitcher Jonathan Broxton on a line drive to center fielder Billy Hamilton, who dove for the ball as it dropped toward the ground. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Nationals Manager Matt Williams, Foster's ruling was reversed, the call was incorrect. At the time of the review, the Reds were leading, 2-1. The Reds ultimately won the contest, 2-1.
