MLB Ejection 071 - Alan Porter (2; Matt Joyce)

HP Umpire Alan Porter ejected Pirates RF Matt Joyce for arguing a strike three call in the bottom of the 7th inning of the Mets-Pirates game. With two out and one on, Joyce took a 1-2 slider from Mets pitcher Jim Henderson for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the inner half of home plate and thigh high (px .605, pz 2.449) and all other pitches during the at-bat were properly officiated, the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Pirates were leading, 5-3. The Mets ultimately won the contest, 6-5, in 10 innings.

This is Alan Porter (64)'s second ejection of the 2016 MLB regular season.
Alan Porter now has 7 points in the UEFL Standings (3 Previous + 2 MLB + 2 Correct Call = 7).
Crew Chief Jeff Kellogg now has 5 points in Crew Division (4 Previous + 1 Correct Call = 5).
