MLB Ejection 131 - Stu Scheurwater (4; Steve Buechele)

1B Umpire Stu Scheurwater ejected Rangers Bench Coach Steve Buechele (check swing ball three call) in the top of the 5th inning of the Astros-Rangers game. With none out and none on in the top of the 4th inning, Astros batter Jose Altuve attempted to check his swing on a 2-2 fastball from Rangers pitcher Tyson Ross, ruled a ball by HP Umpire Lance Barksdale and affirmed as no swing by 1B Umpire Scheurwater. Play was reviewed and deferred by the UEFL Appeals Board (1-0-8), the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejection, the Rangers were leading, 4-2. The Rangers ultimately won the contest, 8-3.

This is Stu Scheurwater (85)'s fourth ejection of the 2017 MLB regular season.
