MLB Ejection 158 - Mike Estabrook (1; Carlos Gomez)

HP Umpire Mike Estabrook ejected Rangers CF Carlos Gomez (strike three call; QOCN) in the bottom of the 3rd inning of the Angels-Rangers game. With one out and none on, Gomez took a 2-2 sinker from Angels pitcher Andrew Heaney for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the outer edge of home plate and knee-high (px 1.025, pz 1.737 [sz_bot 1.681]), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 2-2. The Rangers ultimately won the contest, 7-6.
