MLB Ejection 065 - Jim Reynolds (1; Jason Vargas)

HP Umpire Jim Reynolds ejected Mets bench player/pitcher Jason Vargas (ball one-four calls; QOCN) in the bottom of the 4th inning of the Mets-Diamondbacks game. With one out and two on (R2, R3), Diamondbacks batter Daniel Descalso walked on four consecutive pitches from Mets pitcher Zack Wheeler. Replays indicate the first pitch of the at-bat was located over the inner edge of home plate and knee-high (px 0.568, pz 1.745 [sz_bot 1.504 / RAD 1.627 / MOE 1.710]), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 1-1. The Mets ultimately won the contest, 5-3.
