MLB Ejection 143 - Nestor Ceja (1; Walker Buehler)

HP Umpire Nestor Ceja ejected Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler (foul ball no-call; QOCN) in the top of the 8th inning of the #Mets-#Dodgers game. With two out and two on (R2, R3), Mets batter Pete Alonso hit a 2-0 sinker from Buehler softly on the ground, fielded by third baseman Justin Turner for an infield single scoring Mets baserunner R3 Patrick Mazeika. Replays indicate the batted ball made contact with Alonso's foot as Alonso stood in the batter's box, the foul ball no-call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Dodgers were leading, 3-2. The Dodgers ultimately won the contest, 3-2.
