HP Umpire Jeremie Rehak ejected Giants manager Tony Vitello (Replay Review that upheld a foul ball/not HBP call; QOCN) in the top of the 2nd inning of the #Giants-#Mets game. With none out and none on, Giants batter Turner Hill attempted to avoid a 0-1 curveball from Mets pitcher Zac Thornton, ruled a foul ball by HP Umpire Rehak and affirmed upon Replay Review as the result of a manager's challenge by Giants manager Vitello. Replays indicate the pitched ball touched batter Hill's hand before touching the bat, the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Giants were leading, 1-0. The Giants ultimately won the contest, 9-5.
