Umpire Odds & Ends: No Hitter

On Tuesday night, Bruce Dreckman (1) umpired the plate for Minnesota Twins pitcher Francisco Liriano's no-hitter against the Chicago White Sox. Liriano faced 29 White Sox hitters, striking two out and walking six.

    John Hirschbeck hit by a throw during the Red Sox-Angels game. Don’t think I remember so many umpires being hit in such a short time before.

    Nicely done........ Bruce is solid and MLB Umpires are the best in the world, this is proof why. One of the best plate jobs he's done.
