  1. Great Officiating by Kenny Mauer: "You, you get out! And, you, you get out!"

    Stoppped a potential fight

  2. Haha, they fought after the game, police are investigating, etc. Of course, the refs are off-duty and can't stop players being stupid 20 minutes after the final horn.

  3. Muer was on a rampage Yesterday, he called all 5 technicals himself! Good job by Kenny in this situation. You can hear either Perkins or Randolph yell "I'll beat your ass" The moment after that is said, Mauer chucks them both. He works the NBA finals every year for a reason.

  4. Also surprised there is no post on this. The World Baseball classic is having more qualifiers and they started Today. There have been 2 games thus far both played in Taiwan.

Phillipines VS Thailand- DJ Reyburn,Kouichi Tanba,Mark Ripperger,David Kulhanek

New Zeland VS Chinese Taipei- John Tumpane,Mark Ripperger,David Kulhanek,Sun Won Choi

*Interesting to see Ripperger and Kulhanek get two games. I am assuming those are the only six Umpires in Taiwan and Ripperger will probably work the next game in Taiwan behind the plate. Also if you guys remember the first qualifiers, they used Arizona Fall League Umpires as the MLB season was still going on. Now they are using Triple A call-ups as the American born guys.
