MLB Ejection 136: Ted Barrett (4; Ron Gardenhire)

HP Umpire Ted Barrett ejected Twins Manager Ron Gardenhire for arguing a Replay Review decision that upheld 3B Umpire Alfonso Marquez's catch (out) call in the top of the 3rd inning of the Twins-Royals game. With two out and one on, Twins batter Chris Parmelee hit a 2-2 changeup from Royals pitcher James Shields on a line drive to left fielder Alex Gordon, who attempted to catch the sinking fly ball before it touched the ground. Replays indicate Gordon caught the baseball, the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Twins were leading, 1-0. The Twins ultimately won the contest, 2-1.
