2015 No-Hitter 5, John Tumpane (1; Mike Fiers)

HP Umpire John Tumpane called Astros pitcher Mike Fiers' no-hitter against the Dodgers, the fifth of 2015. Tumpane was joined for Friday's Dodgers-Astros game by 1B Umpire Bill Welke, 2B Umpire James Hoye and 3B Umpire and Crew Chief John Hirschbeck. This is Tumpane's first career MLB no-hitter; crewmate John Hirschbeck previously called Roy Halladay's postseason no-hitter on October 6, 2010.

Friday's is the first MLB no-hitter since August 12, 2015 (Jeff Nelson; Hisashi Iwakuma).

Tumpane received 69 callable pitches from Fiers, a total of 46 balls and 23 called strikes. The look:

Balls: 46 called balls outside of strike zone / 0 called balls within strike zone = 46/46 = 100.0% Accuracy.
Strikes: 21 called strikes inside strike zone / 2 called strikes outside strike zone = 21/23 = 91.3% Accuracy.
Total Raw Accuracy Score = 67/69 = 97.1% Accuracy (+2 for Fiers).
