MLB Ejection 26 - Alfonso Marquez (1; Danny Santana)

HP Umpire Alfonso Marquez ejected Rangers 1B Danny Santana (strike three call; QOCY) in the top of the 10th inning of the #Rangers-#Padres game. With one out and the bases loaded, Santana took a 3-2 sinker from Padres pitcher Tim Hill for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the inner edge of home plate and waist-high (px -0.70, pz 2.60 [sz_top 3.32]) and that all other pitches during the at-bat were properly officiated, the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 2-2. The Padres ultimately won the contest, 6-3, in 10 innings.
