NBA Ejections: Marc Davis, Marat Kogut & Michael Smith

Referees Marc Davis (crew chief), Marat Kogut (R) and Michael Smith (R2/umpire) ejected Pacers forward Chris Copeland and Bulls forward Carlos Boozer for unsporting technical fouls in the 4th quarter of the Pacers-Bulls game. With 0:21.9 remaining in the 4th period, a double technical foul was issued to Boozer and Copeland for a charged physical altercation. At the time of the ejection, the Bulls were leading, 110-94. The Bulls ultimately won the contest, 110-94.

NBA Playoffs Ejection: D Crawford, M Davis and M Smith

Referees Dan Crawford (crew chief), Marc Davis (R) and Michael Smith (R2/umpire) ejected New York Knicks guard JR Smith for a flagrant foul penalty two during the 4th quarter of the Knicks-Celtics playoff game. With 7:06 remaining in the 4th period, Smith elbowed Celtics guard Jason Terry in the face, causing injury. Replays indicate the contact was excessive and unnecessary, resulting in a correctly ruled flagrant foul type two. At the time of the ejection, the Knicks were leading, 78-59. The Knicks ultimately won the contest, 90-76.

NBA Ejection: Davis, Brown & Maddox; TFFL Day 73

NBA Referees Marc Davis (crew chief), Tony Brown (R) and Tre Maddox (umpire) ejected Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich for a second technical foul during the 4th quarter of the Timberwolves-Spurs game. With 7:22 remaining in the 4th period, Popovich received two consecutive conduct technical fouls following a shooting foul called against Spurs forward-center Tiago Splitter. At the time of the ejection, the Spurs were leading, 90-77. The Spurs ultimately won the contest, 106-88.

NBA Ejections: Davis, Barnaky & Richardson, TFFL 61 - 62

Referees Marc Davis (crew chief), Brent Barnaky (R) and Leroy Richardson (umpire) ejected Pistons forward Charlie Villanueva for committing a flagrant foul penalty two during the second quarter of the Kings-Pistons game. With 0:04.0 remaining in the second period, Villanueva was called for a flagrant foul type two for unnecessary and excessive contact against Kings guard Isaiah Thomas, an airborne shooter. At the time of the ejection, the Pistons were leading, 58-46. The Pistons ultimately won the contest, 103-97.
