NBA Ejections: Richardson/Phillips/Bavetta

Referees Leroy Richardson, Jason Phillips & Dick Bavetta ejected Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle for arguing a foul call (two technical fouls) in the fourth quarter of the Timberwolves-Mavericks game. With 5:00 remaining in the fourth period, Mavericks guard O.J. Mayo was called for a shooting foul. After continuing to argue the call, Carlisle received his second technical and ejection, also from Phillips. At the time of the ejection, the Timberwolves were leading, 77-68. The Timberwolves ultimately won the contest, 90-82.
