In the 7th, with none out and none on, Dodger batter Matt Kemp hit a 0-0 slider from Rockies pitcher Matt Belisle on a fly ball to center fielder Drew Stubbs, who threw to shortstop Troy Tulowitzki as Kemp slid into second base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Rockies Manager Walt Weiss, Scott's ruling was reversed, the call was incorrect.* At the time of the review, the Dodgers were leading, 6-2.

In the 9th, with one out and one on, Rockies batter Troy Tulowitzki took a 3-2 fastball from Dodgers pitcher Chris Perez for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer half of home plate and belt high (px .654, pz 2.453), the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Dodgers were leading, 7-2.
