MLB Ejection 206: John Hirschbeck (6; Joe Girardi)

3B Umpire John Hirschbeck ejected Yankees Manager Joe Girardi for a repeat visit argument (DiMuro Rule) in the top of the 3rd inning of the Yankees-Mets game. In the 2nd, with one out and none on, Yankees batter Greg Bird attempted to check his swing on a 1-2 slider from Mets pitcher Matt Harvey. Replays indicate Girardi left the Yankees dugout to argue with Hirschbeck, but was not ejected at that time; Hirschbeck later ejected Girardi during a subsequent inning break, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejection, the Mets were leading, 1-0. The Yankees ultimately won the contest, 11-2.

MLB Ejection 187: Tim Timmons (2; Chip Hale)

HP Umpire Tim Timmons ejected Diamondbacks Manager Chip Hale for either arguing a pending Replay Review decision which ultimately overturned 3B Umpire Chris Segal's foul ball (non-HR) call or continuing an argument from a previous inning (DiMuro Rule) in the top of the 2nd inning of the Diamondbacks-Rockies game. With none out and none on, Diamondbacks batter Jarrod Saltalamacchia hit a 0-1 slider from Rockies pitcher Yohan Flande on a fly ball to deep left field and into the stands, ruled a foul ball by Segal. During the ensuing Replay Review initiated by the Crew Chief, Timmons ejected Hale and the call was overturned to a home run, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 0-0. The Diamondbacks ultimately won the contest, 6-4.

MLB Ejection 180: David Rackley (3; Pat Murphy)

HP Umpire David Rackley ejected Padres Interim Manager Pat Murphy for arguing a prior inning's foul ball call (USC-DiMuro) in the top of the 7th inning of the Padres-Nationals game. In the preceding bottom of the 6th inning with two out and one on, Nationals batter Bryce Harper hit a 2-1 sinker from Padres pitcher Marc Rzepczynski on the ground to first base, the ball ruled foul by Rackley for having struck Harper's lower leg while he was in the batter's box. Replays indicate that the batted ball did not appear to make contact with Harper's leg and that Murphy visited Rackley to discuss the call when it occurred in the 6th inning before being ejected arguing the call in the 7th (Repeat Visit - DiMuro Rule), the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejection, the Nationals were leading, 8-3. The Nationals ultimately won the contest, 8-3.
