NBA Ejections: Marc Davis, Marat Kogut & Michael Smith

Referees Marc Davis (crew chief), Marat Kogut (R) and Michael Smith (R2/umpire) ejected Pacers forward Chris Copeland and Bulls forward Carlos Boozer for unsporting technical fouls in the 4th quarter of the Pacers-Bulls game. With 0:21.9 remaining in the 4th period, a double technical foul was issued to Boozer and Copeland for a charged physical altercation. At the time of the ejection, the Bulls were leading, 110-94. The Bulls ultimately won the contest, 110-94.

NBA Playoffs Ejection: D Crawford, M Davis and M Smith

Referees Dan Crawford (crew chief), Marc Davis (R) and Michael Smith (R2/umpire) ejected New York Knicks guard JR Smith for a flagrant foul penalty two during the 4th quarter of the Knicks-Celtics playoff game. With 7:06 remaining in the 4th period, Smith elbowed Celtics guard Jason Terry in the face, causing injury. Replays indicate the contact was excessive and unnecessary, resulting in a correctly ruled flagrant foul type two. At the time of the ejection, the Knicks were leading, 78-59. The Knicks ultimately won the contest, 90-76.

NBA Ejection: Capers/Poole/Smith & TFFL Day 127

Referees James Capers (crew chief), Olandis Poole (R) and Michael Smith (R2/umpire) ejected Bucks center Larry Sanders for a second unsporting technical foul during the 4th quarter of the Heat-Bucks game. With 2:44 remaining in the 4th period, Sanders was called for a shooting foul and received two technical fouls in succession for unsporting actions before and during the subsequent official timeout. At the time of the ejection, the Heat were leading, 99-88. The Heat ultimately won the contest, 107-94.

NBA Ejections: Salvatore/Adams/Cutler, Mauer/Smith/Kogut

Referees Bennett Salvatore (crew chief), Bennie Adams (R) and Kevin Cutler (R2/umpire) ejected Bucks center Larry Sanders for a second unsporting technical foul during the 4th quarter of the Bucks-Wizards game. With 2:45 remaining in the 4th period, Sanders was called for an offensive foul and received a technical foul for a violation of the NBA's Respect for the Game Guidelines concerning the display of an overt reaction indicating resentment to a call (argued restricted area play). At the time of the ejection, the Wizards were leading, 102-88. The Wizards ultimately won the contest, 106-93.

With 2:58 remaining in the 3rd period, Telfair received a technical foul for unsporting actions following teammate Kyle Lowry's personal foul. Telfair was ejected prior to the beginning of the 4th period after continuing to argue the previous call. Telfair reportedly had to be restrained following the ejection. At the time of the ejection, the Celtics were leading, 81-62. The Celtics ultimately won the contest, 112-88.
