With two out and two on, Lopez took a 3-2 slider from Astros pitcher Bryan Abreu for a called third strike. The Rangers had lost both ABS challenges earlier in the game. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the inner half of home plate and at the hollow beneath the knee (px 0.21, pz 1.46 [sz_bot 1.58 / RAD 1.46]), the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 3-3. The Astros ultimately won the contest, 7-3.

1B Umpire John Bacon ejected Rangers bench coach Luis Urueta (check swing ball three call to Xander Bogaerts) in the top of the 1st inning of the #Padres-#Rangers game. With two out and two on, Padres batter Bogaerts attempted to check his swing on a 2-2 fastball from Rangers pitcher Jacob deGrom for a called ball by HP Umpire Emil Jimenez, ruled no swing on appeal by base umpire Bacon.* At the time of the ejection, the Padres were leading, 5-0. The Rangers ultimately won the contest, 9-7.

With two out and the bases loaded, Rangers batter Seager attempted to check his swing on a 2-2 sweeper by White Sox pitcher Tyler Alexander, ruled a ball by HP Umpire Valentine and called a swinging strike on appeal by 3B Umpire Blakney. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 4-4. The Rangers ultimately won the contest, 5-4, in 11 innings.

Replays indicate Rangers catcher Jonah Heim initially caught the batted ball before losing it on the post-catch transfer/exchange attempt, the call was correct. With one out and one on, Mariners batter Victor Robles bunted a first-pitch changeup from Rangers pitcher Andrew Heaney back to the pitcher, whose throw to first base failed to retire Robles, resulting a bunt single. Replays indicate Robles failed to run within the expanded runner's lane (traditional lane + extension of the dirt in fair territory), but in doing so did not interfere with the fielder taking the throw at first base (1B Nathaniel Lowe), the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Mariners were leading, 3-2. The Mariners ultimately won the contest, 3-2.

With one out and two on, Twins batter Edouard Julien attempted to check his swing on a 3-2 knuckle curve from Rangers pitcher David Robertson, ruled a foul tip by HP Umpire Diaz but called a foul ball by 3B Umpire Bacchus (any base umpire may call a foul ball unasked). Replays indicate the pitched ball made contact with the bat and went directly into the catcher's mitt thereafter; this is a foul tip, Bacchus' call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Rangers were leading, 3-1. The Twins ultimately won the contest, 5-3.

With none out and one on, Rangers batter Garcia took a first-pitch fastball from Astros pitcher Abreu for a hit-by-pitch. Replays indicate the pitch was located inside and struck Garcia in the upper left arm, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejections, the Rangers were leading, 4-2. MLB Ejections 162-3 - Dan Bellino (4-5; TEX-HOU)

2B Umpire Dan Bellino ejected Astros catcher Martin Maldonado and Rangers 2B Marcus Semien (fighting—instigator) in the top of the 5th inning of the #Rangers-#Astros game. With two and the bases loaded, Rangers batter Adolis Garcia hit a 1-1 fastball from Astros pitcher Seth Martinez for a grand slam. As Semien, who was the baserunner R3 at third base, scored on the home run, he jumped on home plate in a fashion that Maldonado took offense with, leading to a confrontation that resulted in a benches clearing incident. Warnings had previously been issued in this game as the result of Rangers pitcher Andrew Heaney's HBP of Astros batter Yordan Alvarez and Astros pitcher Framber Valdez's HBP of Rangers batter Semien, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejections, the Rangers were leading, 13-3. The Rangers ultimately won the contest, 13-5.

Replays indicate the catcher did not appear to hinder or impede the runner's pathway and/or that the runner would have been called out notwithstanding the catcher having blocked the plate, the call to overturn was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the White Sox were leading, 7-6. The White Sox ultimately won the contest, 7-6.
