MLB Ejection 167: Dan Iassogna (4; Joe Girardi)

HP Umpire Dan Iassogna ejected Yankees Manager Joe Girardi for arguing strike two and three calls in the bottom of the 9th inning of the Indians-Yankees game. With one out and one on, Yankees batter Brian McCann took a 0-1 fastball from Indians pitcher Cody Allen for a called second strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer half of home plate and midpoint high (px -.283, pz 3.505 [sz_top 3.490 / MOE 3.573]) while the strike three pitch was located below this height, the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Indians were leading, 3-1. The Indians ultimately on the contest, 3-2.
