MLB Instant Replay Review 390: Jim Wolf (03)

Instant Replay Review overturned 2B Umpire Jim Wolf's safe call in the top of the 5th inning of the Rockies-Phillies game. With two out and two on, Rockies batter Charlie Culberson hit a 0-1 changeup from Phillies pitcher Roberto Hernandez on the ground to second baseman Chase Utley, who stepped on second base as Rockies baserunner R1 Corey Dickerson slid into the bag. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Phillies Manager Ryne Sandberg, Wolf's ruling was reversed, the call was incorrect. At the time of the review, the Rockies were leading, 2-1. The Phillies ultimately won the contest, 6-3.

This is Jim Wolf (28)'s third Instant Replay Review of the 2014 MLB Regular Season.
This is Crew Chief Brian Gorman's 16th supervised Replay Review of the 2014 Regular Season.

This is the 390th Instant Replay Review of the 2014 MLB Regular Season.
This is Phillies Manager Ryne Sandberg's 14th Replay Review of 2014.
Umpires are now 205/390 (.526 Affirmation Rate) in Replay Reviews during the 2014 MLB season.
