MLB Ejections 041-042: Mike Estabrook (2-3; Shelton, Cash)

HP Umpire Mike Estabrook ejected Rays Manager Kevin Cash and Hitting Coach Derek Shelton for arguing a strike three (swinging) call in the bottom of the 5th inning of the Rangers-Rays game. With one out and none on, Rays batter Joey Butler attempted to check his swing on a 2-2 curveball from Rangers pitcher Wandy Rodriguez. Play was reviewed and affirmed (check swing), the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Rangers were leading, 1-0. The Rangers ultimately won the contest, 2-1.
