MLB Ejection 179: Dan Bellino (3; Larry Bowa)

HP Umpire Dan Bellino ejected Phillies Bench Coach Larry Bowa for instigating a bench clearing incident regarding a quick pitch (Unsportsmanlike-NEC) in the bottom of the 7th inning of the Mets-Phillies game. With two out and none on, Mets pitcher Hansel Robles attempted to pitch to Phillies batter Darin Ruf before Ruf was ready to receive the pitch. Replays indicate that Ruf was not looking in the direction of the pitcher's mound when Bellino called time, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejection, the Mets were leading, 6-5. The Mets ultimately won the contest, 6-5.

This is Dan Bellino (2)'s third ejection of 2015.
Dan Bellino now has 5 points in the UEFL Standings (3 Previous + 2 MLB + 0 Irrecusable Call = 5).
Crew Chief Tom Hallion now has 2 points in Crew Division (1 Prev + 1 Irrecusable Call = 2).

This is the 179th ejection of the 2015 MLB Regular Season.
This is the Phillies' 5th ejection of 2015, 2nd in the NL East (WAS 7; PHI 5; ATL, NYM 4; MIA 3).
