MLB Ejection 071 - Greg Gibson (1; Yuli Gurriel)

HP Umpire Greg Gibson ejected Astros 1B Yuli Gurriel (strike three call; QOCN) in the bottom of the 8th inning of the Red Sox-Astros game. With two out and two on (R1, R2), Gurriel took a 2-2 fastball from Red Sox pitcher Robby Scott for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the inner edge of home plate and thigh-high (px -1.147, pz 2.416), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Red Sox were leading, 6-5. The Red Sox ultimately won the contest, 6-5.

This is Greg Gibson (53)'s first ejection of the 2017 MLB regular season.
