MLB Ejection 114 - Stu Scheurwater (3; Joe Girardi)

HP Umpire Stu Scheurwater ejected Yankees Manager Joe Girardi (strike one call; QOCN) in the bottom of the 7th inning of the Rays-Yankees game. With none out and none on, Yankees batter Aaron Judge took a 0-0 fastball from Rays pitcher Sergio Romo for a called first strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the outer edge of home plate and knee-high (px .994, pz 1.786 [sz_bot 1.746]), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Rays were leading, 5-3. The Yankees ultimately won the contest, 6-5, in 11 innings.
