3B Umpire Todd Tichenor ejected Marlins manager Clayton McCullough (Replay Review decision overturning 1B Shane Livensparger's foul ball/runner placement call) in the top of the 7th inning of the #Phillies-#Marlins game. With two out and the bases loaded, Marlins batter Javier Sanoja hit a 0-2 slider from Phillies pitcher Jonathan Bowlan on a line drive down the right field line, ruled foul by 1B Umpire Livensparger and overturned to fair upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Marlins manager McCullough. Replays indicate the batted ball landed in fair territory in right field before being fielded by outfielder Bryce Harper, but is inconclusive as to the placement of Marlins baserunner R1 Otto Lopez at third base, the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejection, the Phillies were leading, 4-3. The Phillies ultimately won the contest, 6-5.

Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer edge of home plate and thigh-high (px -0.76, pz 2.32), the call was correct.* Miami lost both ABS challenges earlier in the game. At the time of the ejections, the Phillies were leading, 6-5. The Phillies ultimately won the contest, 6-5.

With one out and one on, Marlins pitcher Eury Pérez attempted to pick off Brewers baserunner Brandon Lockridge, ruled a balk by 1B Umpire Blaser because Marlins 1B Connor Norby was not positioned at first base, and the throw was to the fielder, not directly to the base, the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Marlins were leading, 3-0. The Marlins ultimately won the contest, 5-3.

HP Umpire Chad Fairchild ejected Marlins 2B Xavier Edwards and manager Clayton McCullough (runner's lane interference call; QOCN) in the top of the 3rd inning of the #Marlins-#Rays game. With none out and one on, Marlins batter Edwards bunted a 0-0 fastball from Rays pitcher Zack Littell on the ground to Littell, who threw to first baseman Jonathan Aranda as batter-runner Edwards arrived at first base, resulting in a collision between Edwards and Aranda as the ball caromed into right field, ruled runner's lane interference by HP Umpire Fairchild. Replays indicate the batter-runner may have run outside of the expanded runner's lane (e.g., on the infield grass), but that the pitcher's low throw could not have reasonably retired the runner, the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Rays were leading, 1-0. The Rays ultimately won the contest, 4-3.
