MLB Ejection 185: Joe West (8; Kevin Long)

HP Umpire Joe West ejected Mets Hitting Coach Kevin Long for arguing a strike three call in the bottom of the 3rd inning of the Red Sox-Mets game. With none out and none on, Mets batter Curtis Granderson took a 0-2 fastball from Red Sox pitcher Wade Miley for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the outer edge of home plate and thigh high (px -1.140, pz 1.909), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Mets were leading, 1-0. The Mets ultimately won the contest, 5-4.

This is Joe West (22)'s eighth ejection of 2015.
Joe West now has 7 points in the UEFL Standings (5 Previous + 2 MLB - 4 Incorrect Call = 3).
