Replays indicate the batted ball appeared to traverse the left field foul line at the front edge of third base and did not appear to contact Davis while he was in the batter's box, the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Athletics were leading, 4-0. The A's ultimately won the contest, 9-1.
