With two out and one on, Puig took a 0-2 fastball from Padres pitcher Ian Kennedy for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the inner edge of home plate and thigh high (px -1.060, pz 1.790 / sz_bot 1.670), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 0-0. The Dodgers ultimately won the contest, 1-0.
