In the 4th period, Paul received his second unsporting technical foul with 2:29 remaining in the contest, while Randolph received his second technical foul for violating the NBA's Respect for the Game guidelines with 1:57 remaining in regulation. At the time of the Paul ejection, the Grizzlies were leading, 113-99. At the time of the Randolph ejection, the Grizzlies were leading, 115-99. The Grizzlies ultimately won the contest, 118-105, clinching the series and eliminating the Clippers from the playoffs.

NBA Ejection: J Crawford/Corbin/Lane & TFFL Day 144
Referees Joe Crawford (crew chief), Sean Corbin (R) and Karl Lane (R2/umpire) ejected Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich for a second technical foul during the 4th quarter of the Bulls-Wizards game. With 3:19 remaining in the 4th period, Bulls center Nazr Mohammed attempted to tip in a Hinrich missed shot, but was ruled to have contacted the ball while it was still within the cylinder, resulting in offensive basket interference and a turnover. Hinrich disagreed with the call, resulting in Hinrich's two technicals, including an ejection by Corbin. At the time of the ejection, the Wizards were leading, 83-82. The Wizards ultimately won the contest, 90-86.

NBA Ejection: Crawford/Corbin/Scott & TFFL Day 123
Referees Joe Crawford (crew chief), Sean Corbin (R) and Kevin Scott (R2/umpire) ejected Knicks guard J.R. Smith for a flagrant two foul in the 3rd quarter of the Bucks-Kings game. With 6:51 remaining in the third period, Smith excessively and unnecessarily made contact with Warriors forward Harrison Barnes' head, resulting in a flagrant one call which was changed following instant replay review to a flagrant foul penalty two. At the time of the ejection, Warriors were leading, 64-40. The Warriors ultimately won the contest, 92-63.

Joey Crawford: 35-Year NBA Referee Influenced by Baseball
He's officiated NBA basketball for 35 years and nearly 2,500 games. So what do NBA referee Joey Crawford and MLB umpire Joe West have in common?
Crawford recently opened up about his long journey into basketball officiating, an open discussion about his anger management issues and upbringing influences, his quick ascent to the top of his game and a uniquely common sports injury—for a referee, at least.
Crawford made his officiating debut at age 18 in small recreational leagues near his hometown of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After his first 13-game weekend and months of similar work, Crawford worked the Eastern League for four years, all while serving as a fill-in postal carrier in the town of Wayne, PA.
At the young age of 25, Crawford worked his first NBA game: Still a young adult, Crawford recalls the first time he met Los Angeles Lakers superfan Jack Nicholson:
