NBA Ejection: D Crawford/L Richardson/Roe

Referees Dan Crawford (crew chief), Leroy Richardson (R) and Eli Roe (R2/umpire) ejected Cleveland Cavaliers forward Marreese Speights for a flagrant foul penalty two during the 3rd quarter of the Pacers-Cavaliers game. With 0:48.4 remaining in the 3rd period, Speights was charged with a turnover after Pacers forward Paul George stole the ball from him. While George subsequently attempted a fast break score, Speights employed contact both excessive and unnecessary by grabbing George around the neck and pulling him to the ground, resulting in a flagrant foul type two call. At the time of the ejection, the Pacers were leading, 82-62. The Pacers ultimately won the contest, 111-90.

NBA Ejection: Mauer, Corbin & Roe; TFFL Day 80

Referees Ken Mauer (crew chief), Sean Corbin (R) and Eli Roe (umpire) ejected Lakers center Dwight Howard for a second technical foul during the 2nd quarter of the Lakers-Raptors game. With 1:18 remaining in the second period, Howard and Raptors forward-guard Alan Anderson became entangled following a Metta World Peace free throw, prompting official Roe to issue a double technical to both players. Because Howard had previously received a conduct technical foul for complaining with 4:43 in the 1st quarter, he was automatically ejected. At the time of the ejection, the Raptors were leading, 48-44. The Raptors ultimately won the contest, 108-103.

NBA Ejections: Mott (x1), TFFL Day 54 / Spooner Rehab Gm

Referees Rodney Mott, Eli Roe & Leon Wood ejected Suns head coach Alvin Gentry for two consecutive conduct technical fouls in the 2nd quarter of the Clippers-Suns game. With 2:33 remaining in the period, Gentry objected to a no-call as Suns guard Goran Dragic's three-point attempt missed and was rebounded by Clippers forward Matt Barnes. At the time of the ejection, the Clippers were leading, 50-42. The Clippers ultimately won the contest,

Personnel Note: NBA Official Bill Spooner (22) served as crew chief during this weekend's Idaho Stampede vs. Los Angeles D-Fenders NBA D-League contest. Spooner's crew, which included referee Sir Allen Conner and umpire Tiffany Bird, ejected D-Fenders guard Courtney Fortson for receiving a second technical foul at 6:45 in the third quarter. Spooner was placed on the NBA officials' disabled list earlier this season with an undisclosed leg injury.
