With two out and one on, Marlins batter Adeiny Hechavarria took a 0-0 fastball from Braves pitcher Arodys Vizcaino for a called first ball. Replays indicate the pitch was located near the outer edge of home plate and near the midpoint and that all pitches during the preceding at-bats had been properly officiated (Pitch f/x did not capture the first pitch of Hechavarria's at-bat), the call was irrecusable. At the time of the ejection, the Braves were leading, 8-4. The Braves ultimately won the contest, 8-5.

2B Umpire Ben May ejected White Sox C Tyler Flowers for arguing an out call in the top of the 7th inning of the White Sox-Diamondbacks game. With one out and none on, Flowers hit a 1-1 changeup from Diamondbacks pitcher Brad Ziegler on the ground to third baseman Jordan Pacheco, who threw to first baseman Rudy Flores as Flowers arrived at first base. Replays indicate Flores gained possession of the ball prior to Flowers touching first base, the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the Diamondbacks were leading, 10-1. The Diamondbacks ultimately won the contest, 10-2.

In the 4th, with two out and none on, Flowers took a 1-2 fastball from Indians pitcher Josh Tomlin for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the inner edge of home plate and knee-high (px -.784, pz 1.585 / sz_bot 1.570) and that all pitches during the at-bat were properly officiated, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the White Sox were leading, 3-1.

In the 6th, with one out and one on, Indians batter Ryan Raburn hit a 1-1 changeup from White Sox pitcher Jose Quintana on a line drive to right fielder Moises Sierra, who threw to shortstop Alexei Ramirez as Raburn slid into second base. Upon Replay Review as the result of a challenge by Indians Manager Terry Francona, Barrett's rulings was affirmed, the call was correct. At the time of the review, the White Sox were leading, 3-2. The White Sox ultimately won the contest, 6-2.
