Play was reviewed and adjudicated by the UEFL Appeals Board as a swinging strike (5-0), the call was CORRECT. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 0-0. The Padres ultimately won the contest, 5-4.

Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer half of home plate and at the hollow of the knee (px -.289, pz 1.423 [sz_bot 1.589 / MOE 1.506 / MOE-RAD 1.382]), the call was correct.* At the time the ejections, the Rockies were leading, 5-3. The Rockies ultimately won the contest, 5-3, in 12 innings.
