NBA Ejections: D Crawford, Gary Zielinski, Steven Anderson

Referees Dan Crawford (crew chief), Gary Zielinski (R) and Steven Anderson (R2/umpire) ejected Wizards forward Nene and Thunder guard Russell Westbrook for second technical fouls in the 4th quarter of the
Wizards-Thunder game. With 7:50 remaining in the 3rd period, Westbrook and Nene were issued double technical fouls after Wesbrook's one-foot driving layup was blocked by Nene and the players engaged in a confrontation following the play. With 3:19 remaining in the 4th period, Westbrook and Nene again tangled following Westbrook's offensive foul (third personal) and earned a second pair of technical fouls, resulting in both players' ejection from the game. At the time of the ejection, the Wizards were leading, 92-82. The Thunder ultimately won the contest, 106-105, in one overtime period.

NBA Playoffs Ejection: D Crawford, M Davis and M Smith

Referees Dan Crawford (crew chief), Marc Davis (R) and Michael Smith (R2/umpire) ejected New York Knicks guard JR Smith for a flagrant foul penalty two during the 4th quarter of the Knicks-Celtics playoff game. With 7:06 remaining in the 4th period, Smith elbowed Celtics guard Jason Terry in the face, causing injury. Replays indicate the contact was excessive and unnecessary, resulting in a correctly ruled flagrant foul type two. At the time of the ejection, the Knicks were leading, 78-59. The Knicks ultimately won the contest, 90-76.

NBA Ejection: D Crawford/L Richardson/Roe

Referees Dan Crawford (crew chief), Leroy Richardson (R) and Eli Roe (R2/umpire) ejected Cleveland Cavaliers forward Marreese Speights for a flagrant foul penalty two during the 3rd quarter of the Pacers-Cavaliers game. With 0:48.4 remaining in the 3rd period, Speights was charged with a turnover after Pacers forward Paul George stole the ball from him. While George subsequently attempted a fast break score, Speights employed contact both excessive and unnecessary by grabbing George around the neck and pulling him to the ground, resulting in a flagrant foul type two call. At the time of the ejection, the Pacers were leading, 82-62. The Pacers ultimately won the contest, 111-90.

NBA Ejections (2): D Crawford, Lewis & Scott / TFFL Day 95

Referees Dan Crawford (crew chief), Eric Lewis (R) and Kevin Scott (R2/umpire) ejected Warriors forward Draymond Green for a flagrant foul penalty two and Rockets forward Marcus Morris for a technical foul in the 4th quarter of the Warriors-Rockets game. With 0:34.1 seconds remaining in the 4th period, Green committed a flagrant foul type two against Rockets guard Patrick Beverley after Green was ruled to have excessively and unnecessarily grabbed Beverley's head/neck area. Beverley had driven for a one-handed dunk during a previous possession with over one minute remaining in regulation and received a taunting technical foul at 1:04. Morris was ejected for his conduct during the ensuing dead ball period. At the time of the ejections, the Rockets were leading, 136-106. The Rockets ultimately won the contest, 140-109.

Ejections: Stafford/Zarba/Blair & Crawford/Poole/Twardoski

Referees Derrick Stafford (crew chief), Zach Zarba (R) and Curtis Blair (R2/umpire) ejected Bucks guard Brandon Jennings for a technical foul during the 4th quarter of the Bulls-Bucks game. With 2:54 remaining in the 4th period, Jennings was called for an offensive foul after extending his off-arm into an opposing player while in possession of the ball. After the call, Jennings threw the basketball at official Stafford and aggressively approached the crew chief, drawing a single technical foul and ejection. At the time of the ejection, the Bulls were leading, 94-84. The Bulls ultimately won the contest, 104-88.

NBA Ejections: D Crawford, Palmer & Kirkland; TFFL Day 63

Referees Dan Crawford (crew chief), Violet Palmer (R) and Courtney Kirkland (umpire) ejected Thunder forward Kevin Durant for his second technical foul in the 4th quarter of the Nets-Thunder game. With 1:57 remaining in the 4th period, Thunder center Kendrick Perkins was whistled for his third personal foul by -cc Crawford, resulting in a turnover. As Durant threw an "air punch" in response to the call, he was assessed a technical foul violating the NBA's "Respect for the Game" guidelines concerning overt gestures indicating resentment to a call. Upon throwing another air punch in response to the technical foul call, Durant received his second technical and ejection. At the time of the ejection, the Nets were leading, 104-90. The Nets ultimately won the contest, 110-93.

Crew Chief Dan Crawford ejected Lakers center Dwight Howard for a flagrant foul penalty two committed against Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried during the 3rd quarter of the Lakers-Nuggets game. With 5:02 remaining in the 3rd period, Howard unnecessarily and excessively contacted an airborne Faried and was ejected pursuant to NBA Rule 12A-V-1-5. Replays indicate Howard's hands made significant contact with Faried's face during the shot attempt. At the time of the ejection, the Nuggets were leading, 78-72. The Nuggets ultimately won the contest, 126-114.
