NBA Ejections: Ken Mauer, Nick Buchert, Scott Wall (x2)

Referees Ken Mauer (crew chief), Nick Buchert (R) and Scott Wall (R2/umpire) ejected Thunder forward Serge Ibaka and Clippers forward Matt Barnes in the 2nd quarter of the Thunder-Clippers game. With 0:06.2
remaining in the 2nd period, Clippers forward Blake Griffin rebounded a Chris Paul miss and was fouled in the act of shooting by Thunder guard Thabo Sefolosha. Following the foul call, Griffin and Ibaka remained entangled; disengagement was violent and Griffin received a technical foul while Ibaka and Barnes were ejected for fighting, as confirmed following instant replay review. At the time of the ejection, the Thunder were leading, 58-52. The Clippers ultimately won the contest, 83-78.

NBA Ejection: Mauer/Goble/Barnaky & TFFL Day 143

Referees Ken Mauer (crew chief), John Goble (R) and Brent Barnaky (R2/umpire) ejected Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson for a second technical foul during the 2nd quarter of the Cavaliers-Hawks game. With 7:07 remaining in the 2nd period, Gibson received his first technical foul after failing to draw a foul in connection with a missed three-point jump shot attempt. After jawing with opponent DeShawn Stevenson, Gibson and Stevenson were issued offsetting unsporting conduct technical fouls, resulting in Gibson's accrual of two cumulative technicals and his automatic ejection. At the time of the ejection, the Hawks were leading, 33-25. The Hawks ultimately won the contest, 102-94.

NBA Ejections: Salvatore/Adams/Cutler, Mauer/Smith/Kogut

Referees Bennett Salvatore (crew chief), Bennie Adams (R) and Kevin Cutler (R2/umpire) ejected Bucks center Larry Sanders for a second unsporting technical foul during the 4th quarter of the Bucks-Wizards game. With 2:45 remaining in the 4th period, Sanders was called for an offensive foul and received a technical foul for a violation of the NBA's Respect for the Game Guidelines concerning the display of an overt reaction indicating resentment to a call (argued restricted area play). At the time of the ejection, the Wizards were leading, 102-88. The Wizards ultimately won the contest, 106-93.

With 2:58 remaining in the 3rd period, Telfair received a technical foul for unsporting actions following teammate Kyle Lowry's personal foul. Telfair was ejected prior to the beginning of the 4th period after continuing to argue the previous call. Telfair reportedly had to be restrained following the ejection. At the time of the ejection, the Celtics were leading, 81-62. The Celtics ultimately won the contest, 112-88.

NBA Ejection: Mauer/Fitzgerald/Poole & TFFL Day 105

Referees Ken Mauer (crew chief), Kane Fitzgerald (R) and Olandis Poole (R2/umpire) ejected Knicks guard J.R. Smith for violating the NBA's Respect for the Game Guidelines after receiving his second conduct technical foul in the third quarter of the Knicks-Pacers game. At the half-time intermission, Smith received his first technical foul as half of an offsetting (double) technical foul with Pacers guard Lance Stephenson for their respective unsportsmanlike conduct/verbal altercation. With 3:01 remaining in the third period, Smith was called for an offensive foul after appearing to swing elbows and contact an opponent in the head area. Following an ensuing possession, Smith proceeded to complain to referee Fitzgerald after the ball became dead following a made field goal, earning his second and disqualifying technical foul. At the time of the ejection, the Pacers were leading, 95-59. The Pacers ultimately won the contest, 125-91.

NBA Ejection: Mauer, Corbin & Roe; TFFL Day 80

Referees Ken Mauer (crew chief), Sean Corbin (R) and Eli Roe (umpire) ejected Lakers center Dwight Howard for a second technical foul during the 2nd quarter of the Lakers-Raptors game. With 1:18 remaining in the second period, Howard and Raptors forward-guard Alan Anderson became entangled following a Metta World Peace free throw, prompting official Roe to issue a double technical to both players. Because Howard had previously received a conduct technical foul for complaining with 4:43 in the 1st quarter, he was automatically ejected. At the time of the ejection, the Raptors were leading, 48-44. The Raptors ultimately won the contest, 108-103.
