MLB Ejection 192: Tim Timmons (3; Cliff Pennington)

HP Umpire Tim Timmons ejected Blue Jays bench player Cliff Pennington for arguing a strike two [check swing] call in the bottom of the 6th inning of the Orioles-Blue Jays game. With two out and none on, Blue Jays batter Jose Bautista attempted to check his swing on a 1-2 fastball from Orioles pitcher Jorge Rondon, ruled a swinging strike on appeal by 1B Umpire Mike Everitt. This play is under review by the UEFL Appeals Board (Check Swing). At the time of the ejection, the Blue Jays were leading, 5-0. The Blue Jays ultimately won the contest, 5-1.
