HP Umpire Chris Guccione ejected Nationals interim manager Miguel Cairo (check swing strike three call to James Wood) in the bottom of the 6th inning of the #Brewers-#Nationals game. With two out and none on, Nationals batter Wood attempted to check his swing on a 3-2 changeup from Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff, ruled a swinging strike by HP Umpire Guccione. At the time of the ejection, the Brewers were leading, 5-2. The Brewers ultimately won the contest, 8-2.
