MLB Ejection 198: Jeff Nelson (6; Yoenis Cespedes)

HP Umpire Jeff Nelson ejected Red Sox LF Yoenis Cespedes for arguing a strike three call in the bottom of the 8th inning of the Rays-Red Sox game. With two out and one on, Red Sox batter Cespedes took a 1-2 curveball from Rays pitcher Grant Balfour for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the outer edge of home plate and thigh high (px .103, pz 2.053), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Rays were leading, 5-2. The Rays ultimately won the contest, 6-2.
