MLB Ejection 166 - Ryan Blakney (2; Joc Pederson)

HP Umpire Ryan Blakney ejected Dodgers CF Joc Pederson for arguing a strike three call in the top of the 8th inning of the Dodgers-Diamondbacks game. With none out and one on, Pederson took a 2-2 fastball from Diamondbacks pitcher Enrique Burgos for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the heart of home plate and knee high (px -.111, pz 1.779 [sz_bot 1.680]) and it was the only called strike of the at-bat, the call was correct. At the time of the ejection, the game was tied, 7-7. The Diamondbacks ultimately won the contest, 10-9, in 12 innings.
