MLB Ejection 127 - Alan Porter (2; Kevin Long)

3B Umpire Alan Porter ejected Nationals hitting coach Kevin Long (strike one call by HP Umpire Sean Barber; QOCY) in the top of the 5th inning of the #Nationals-#Mets game. With none out and none on, Nationals batter Yadiel Hernandez took a first-pitch sinker from Mets pitcher Marcus Stroman for a called first strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the outer edge of home plate and above the hollow of the knee (px -0.77, pz 1.55 [sz_bot 1.50 / RAD 1.38 / MOE 1.29]), the call was correct.* At the time of the ejection, the Mets were leading, 4-0. The Mets ultimately won the contest, 4-1, in 7 innings (doubleheader).
