MLB Ejection 022 - Jeremy Riggs (1; Max Scherzer)

HP Umpire Jeremy Riggs ejected Mets bench player/pitcher Max Scherzer (strike three call; QOCN) in the bottom of the 6th inning of the #Braves-#Mets game. With none out and none on, Mets batter Dominic Smith took a 1-2 curveball from Braves pitcher Kyle Wright for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located off the outer edge of home plate and waist-high (px -1.12, pz 2.40), the call was incorrect. At the time of the ejection, the Mets were leading, 3-0. The Mets ultimately won the contest, 3-0.
