MLB Ejection 068 - Junior Valentine (1; Alex Cora)

HP Umpire Junior Valentine ejected Red Sox manager Alex Cora (strike three call to Romy Gonzalez; QOCN) in the bottom of the 11th inning of the #Rays-#RedSox game. With one out and two on, Red Sox batter Gonzalez took a 3-2 fastball from Rays pitcher Ian Seymour for a called third strike. Replays indicate the pitch was located over the heart of home plate and below the hollow beneath the knee (px -0.31, pz 1.54 [sz_bot 1.82 / RAD 1.70 / 1.62]), the call was incorrect.* At the time of the ejection, the Rays were leading, 10-8. The Rays ultimately won the contest, 10-8, in 11 innings.
